Success Stories
Unexplained infertility, tried ivf 5 times
A patient was trying to conceive naturally for more than five years. She finally chose to have IVF treatments for another two years which ended up with no fertilization or miscarriages. By the time she came to my clinic, she had five IVF treatments which cost her a fortune.
Diagnosis: Her case was very characteristic of dampness (fluid congestion) affecting the uterus with low level of Pancreas Qi.
Treatment: She was treated with acupuncture, moxa heating and herbal formulas, first to remove the accumulated dampness, reinforcing the pancreas metabolism and then tonifying the conception related channel and ovaries. She had about 3 months of treatment before pregnancy was confirmed and had a healthy boy.
Lower back bent forward with pain and stiffness
A patient’s lower back was bent forward and couldn’t straighten up for a month and half with pain and tightness.
Diagnosis: Although she was a healthy senior, her pulse and tongue suggested stagnation of Liver qi with deficiency of blood, which can affect her lower back condition.
Treatment: Only three to four acupuncture points were used on her hands, feet and knee area with moxa on the back. She walked out of my clinic with her back straight up and later asked her family doctor to refer and recommend acupuncture first.
